The national Friends and Family test is an important opportunity for patients at Lawton House Surgery and those of every GP Practice across England, to provide anonymous feedback regarding the care and treatment you receive, helping us to improve services.

The Friends & Family Test has been introduced in hospitals since 2013 and asks patients whether they would recommend hospital wards, A&E departments and maternity services to their friends & family if they needed similar care or treatment. As a result of the FFT, over 3 million individual pieces of feedback have been collected on patients’ experiences and many improvements have been made to the care and treatment of patients nationally.

This means every patient is able to give quick anonymous feedback on the quality of the care they have received; this gives a better understanding of the needs of the patients; which will enable improvements to both care and treatment.
